League of Geeks has announced that its strategy game “Solium Infernum” will be available for PC via Steam starting February 14, 2024. Additionally, a multiplayer playtest will take place in early 2024, with more details to be revealed soon.
Statements from the Co-Founder and Director of League of Geeks: “Solium Infernum has a lot to offer both grand strategy enthusiasts and newcomers,” Trent Kusters, co-founder and director of League of Geeks, said in a press release. “We’ve been working diligently on a game that caters to all players, from those who prefer single-player experiences to multiplayer fans who enjoy competing, backstabbing, and backstabbing their friends online. Our inclusion of asynchronous multiplayer makes Solium Infernum accessible to all schedules, and we eagerly anticipate how the new rulers of Hell will ascend to their thrones.”
Game description according to the Steam page: Prepare for “Solium Infernum,” the grand strategy game of politics, intrigue and betrayal, set in the last arena of Hell. As a powerful fallen Archdemon, sinister lord of the Infernal Realm of Hell, you are a contender for the Infernal Throne; the Great Dark Majesty is missing and the feverish Conclave demands a declared replacement. Command fearsome legions, recruit champion praetors, perform sinister rituals, and outwit your rivals to become the new Dark Majesty of Hell.
Originally inspired by Milton’s epic poem, “Paradise Lost,” League of Geeks’ “Solium Infernum” is a reimagining and modernization of Vic Davis’ acclaimed cult classic of the same name, hailed as a masterpiece of strategy game design. Prepare to be immersed in “the cold glory of a difficult decision” as we resurrect “Solium Infernum” from the depths of hell.
