In the revival of the chilling events portrayed in the first installment of Urban Legend Hunters, a new and puzzling mystery takes over the virtual world, raising questions about the infamous urban legend known as “the double.” The narrative develops some years later, with the sudden disappearance of Chris, a popular online show host and influencer, generating intense conversations in the digital sphere.
For those unfamiliar with the incident, legend suggests that encountering someone identical to yourself can lead to a sinister outcome: one of the two individuals will be completely replaced by the other, inheriting memories and imperceptibly taking over the victim’s life. As the online community becomes immersed in speculation and disturbing tales, an outsider, oblivious to the unfolding enigma, becomes embroiled in the narrative.
This outsider, our protagonist, inadvertently connects with Rain, Shou and Tangtang, who claim to be members of Chris’s channel, through a messaging app. They suspect that Chris’s disappearance has to do with the urban legend of the “double”, as well as the Urban Legend Hunters community. They invite you to join their search for Chris, and as you investigate and gather more clues, you get closer to seeing the full picture of what really happened…
