The Ventrue clan revealed as the fourth playable faction in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2


Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room have announced that Clan Ventrue will join as the fourth playable faction in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. In this game, the player takes on the role of the protagonist Phyre, a Kindred Elder Embraced in the early 17th century, being able to choose from four playable clans: Banu Haqium, Brujah, Tremere and Ventrue.

Ventrue, known as the Clan of Kings, Blue Bloods, Tyrants, Warlords, Patricians and Borgias, generally select their descendants from mortals familiar with power, wealth and influence. Considering themselves the rightful leaders of vampire society, members of the Ventrue clan take on leadership roles whenever they can, often holding high positions in the Camarilla courts.

Playing as a Ventrue, players will take on the role of blue-blooded tyrants who command obedience in both their allies and enemies. Using the disciplines of Presence and Domination, they can hypnotize and amaze their prey. Feeding builds Fortitude, allowing the Ventrue to absorb more damage should any enemies be powerful enough to resist their willpower.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 It is scheduled for release in fall 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Lovers of the dark and fascinating vampire setting will be able to immerse themselves in this game full of intrigue and supernatural power with the incorporation of the influential Ventrue Clan.
