Playstack and Color Gray Games Announce Detective Adventure Game “The Rise of the Golden Idol”

Publisher Playstack and developer Color Gray Games have revealed the upcoming release of the detective adventure game “The Rise of the Golden Idol” for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC (Steam), and even for iOS and Android devices through Netflix, scheduled for 2024.

Game Description: The award-winning detective saga returns with “The Rise of the Golden Idol.” Discover the truth behind 15 strange cases of crime, death and depravity in the 1970s. Although the world has changed dramatically, the sins of humanity persist. Three centuries after the ineffable destiny of the Cloudsleys, the legend of the Golden Idol fades into whispers, considered an obscene myth. However, some are determined to change this.

The game follows an intrepid relic hunter on a quest to unearth the powerful artifact that, according to legend, can reshape the world. As an observer, you must investigate 15 strange cases of crime, death and depravity. As in “The Case of the Golden Idol”, you are free to investigate as you wish and build your own theory. You will have to make sense of a great mystery that unfolds in an era of hallucinogens, fax machines, parapsychology and television guides.

Enlightenment seekers, convicts, talk show hosts and corporate managers will play a role in the broader mysteries that are revealed. As always, many of these characters will have their own motives, and some will have more than just agendas.

Get ready to immerse yourself in this intriguing detective journey in 2024 and unravel the secrets behind “The Rise of the Golden Idol” on multiple platforms!
