The release of “Aeterna Lucis” announced

Aeternum Game Studios has revealed that the side-scrolling action adventure game “Aeterna Lucis“, the sequel to Aeterna Noctis, will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam at the end of 2024.

Game Description: “Aeterna Lucis” is an action adventure game focused on fast-paced combat, exploration, and a captivating story. The sequel to Aeterna Noctis follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and introduces a new protagonist into a vast interconnected world. After the events of the first game, the Queen of Light must stop the destruction of existence by challenging the Supreme God Chaos as she searches for the location of her old nemesis.

Featured Features:

  • Close-Up Action Adventure– Explore new interconnected areas on a sprawling world map filled with secrets, side quests, and evils to defeat. As the Queen of Light, you must uncover the mysteries of a land never before seen in the franchise and gather allies to stop the imminent collapse of space and time.
  • Fast Gameplay: Any action adventure title focused on combat and exploration needs a fast combat system and plenty of passive and offensive abilities. Guess what, both requirements are present in “Aeterna Lucis”. The formula implemented in its predecessor is now completely improved, with much more polished combat controls, new abilities and exclusive weapons for the Queen of Light.
  • Level Design and Progression: The game features intuitive level design so players enjoy precise motion controls and complete freedom to explore and discover alternative routes. As you become more skilled and the Queen of Light gains new abilities, “Aeterna Lucis” allows players to make the most of their character in clashes against final bosses that promise a visual, auditory and playable spectacle.
  • Unique Art Direction: Since “Aeterna Noctis,” the franchise’s universe has always been characterized by a consistent art design that makes all gameplay areas, enemies, and non-playable characters feel part of the same world. Using our distinctive stained glass and hand-drawing art, all environments and graphic elements stand out for their meticulous attention to detail.
  • Rich Plot: The Aeterna Universe uses dialogue, item descriptions, and environmental narrative that do not interfere with the player’s progress and the overall flow of the game. “Aeterna Lucis” is no exception and introduces many new details about the history of the franchise and the secrets behind the curse of the two monarchs.
