Nippon Ichi Software has shared new information and screenshots about the upcoming roguelike strategy role-playing game, Stella Abyss Bar. This installment introduces clients Leona, Ginga, Cas and Baran, as well as character links called “Links” and various types of Stella.
Stella Abyss Bar – A Glimpse into the World of Roguelike Strategy
Bar Stella Abyss is a roguelike strategy role-playing game in which you strengthen your party with the power of constellations while exploring an otherworldly dungeon that changes shape with each game. In addition to exploring the other world, the story will unfold as you share drinks with the particular customers of the “Stella Abyss” bar. In this Drunken World full of powerful monsters, you will need allies to fight by your side.
Find Allies in Stella Abyss Patterns
In this world, only those who “lost something important” come to the Drunken World, and lend their strength to the Wanderer. You can add up to two characters as party members who lend their strength to you in a dungeon. Although the characters you encounter are essentially random, you’re more likely to encounter the last character you sat with at the bar.
Bonds and Character Development
As you progress through dungeons together, your “Links” with group members will increase. Strengthening a Link will change the character’s starting Stella to a stronger one, and the Wanderer’s stats will grow even more as he levels up. If you find yourself at a stalemate during exploration, developing your companions’ Links will improve your abilities in battle.
Development and Unlockable Limits
Although there is a limit to the development level of Links, you can unlock those limits by successfully completing specific conversations. You can also increase Links by giving gifts obtained in dungeons, which can be purchased in treasure chests or in facilities called “shops”.
