Square Enix has reported that the free mobile RPG Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile will close its services on March 29, 2024 at 13:00 JST. As part of this decision, all in-game purchases have been suspended as of today.

Despite receiving positive feedback about the game’s representation of the original story, the development team shared in a letter that it has also received diverse feedback in areas where it has not been able to provide satisfactory service. Production of the original story as a voice drama
Since the shutdown will occur before the development team can deliver on the previously promised original story, they have made the decision to produce it as a voice drama. This content will be released sequentially across streaming platforms between January and March 2024.
