Phantom Abyss will leave Early Access and officially launch on January 25 for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Humble Store

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Team WIBY have announced that the asynchronous roguelike game Phantom Abyss It will leave Early Access for its official launch on January 25 on Xbox Series and PC through Steam and Humble Store. Phantom Abyss initially debuted in Early Access for PC on June 21, 2021, followed by Game Preview for Xbox Series on October 20, 2022, and is also available through Xbox Game Pass.

Version 1.0 of the game comes loaded with new features, including:

Adventure Mode Renewal – Adventure Mode has been completely revamped, offering explorers the option of a series of temples to explore, each with a whip, relic, and a series of specific challenges.

New Abyss Mode – The main Phantom Abyss experience, previously called Classic Mode, challenges players to enter a temple and progress through the four areas within it to collect the relic at the end. Only one person will complete each temple, so time (and skill) is of the essence.

Whip Changes – Whips no longer carry curses and are unlocked by playing Adventure Mode, while whip skins are obtained through optional player challenges.

The departure of Phantom Abyss from Early Access marks an exciting milestone for fans, who will be able to enjoy new experiences and challenges in this unique roguelike. Get ready for the adventure that awaits on January 25!
