Developer ACQUIRE has revealed that a second limited-time demo for the roguelike deckbuilder and strategy RPG game, CARDS RPG: The Misty Battlefield, is now available for PC through Steam. This demo will be available to play until January 21 at 6:59 am PT / 9:59 am ET.
Notable changes in the second demo:
- Changes to the card transfer specification after clearing a level: Before the change, only one card could be transferred. Now, three cards are discarded from the deck and all the others are transferred.
- Improvements in graphic resources: Graphical assets have been polished, including maps and the game’s user interface.
- Enemy difficulty adjustment: Enemy difficulty has been adjusted for a more balanced gameplay experience.
- Improved gameplay: Gameplay has been improved, allowing for more comfortable gameplay even with a gamepad.
- Card adjustment in each level: Changes to the cards that appear in each level for greater variety.
- Adjustment of some card effects: Some card effects have been adjusted for a smoother gameplay experience.
- Bug fixes for some card effects: Fixed bugs in some card effects.
CARDS RPG: The Misty Battlefield is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam in 2024. Pre-sales for the PlayStation 5 and Switch physical editions will open later this month in Japan.
