Retrowave has excited gamers by announcing the release of The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest, an 8-bit style side-scrolling platformer, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (Steam). The launch date is scheduled for 2025.
Game Description: The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest is a side-scrolling platformer homage and parody that immerses players in an ominous 8-bit world. The titular hero, Simon Quest, arrives in Transylvania only to discover that his vampire-hunting rival, Stan Helsing, has already defeated the evil Count Dracula. To regain the glory that is his, Simon ventures across Wallachia to gather what he needs to resurrect the dark earl piece by piece and give him a good beating!
