Radical Forge announces “Southfield” farming game for PC

Radical Forge, co-developer of titles like Gang Beasts and Sea of Thieves, has revealed its new project: the sandbox farm game “Southfield” for PC via Steam. The company plans to release a demo during Steam Next Fest in February, allowing players to sample the charms of Southfield before the full release.

Bruce Slater, CEO and game director at Radical Forge, shared his excitement in a press release: “Southfield is the result of a great deal of imagination, trial and error, and hard work by the team at Radical Forge. We wanted to create an ambitious, absurd farm game with ridiculous characters in a fantasy world. Above all, we wanted to build an island that creates fun. And now we can take it to early access and see what you guys think. “For me, this is the moment where the game will take on a new life, and players will take it in directions we can’t even imagine.”

Game Description: On the enchanting island of Southfield, you are invited to channel your liveliest vibes and become one with the Bud, a mysterious creature that has sprouted from the earth. Grow weird and wonderful crops, play and build with a variety of fun toys, and compete with your friends across the ever-changing island. Combine chaotic harvests with unpredictable effects, build the farm of your dreams and experiment with playful machinery. Expand your harvest with fun farming automation, help the locals, avoid the mischievous Ruffians and investigate the towering Monolith.

Bruce Slater added: “For me, this is the moment where the game will take on a new life, and players will take it in directions we can’t even imagine.” Southfield promises to be a unique farming game, full of fun and creativity, and players can look forward to exploring a fantastical world full of quirky characters while cultivating their own farming destinies.

Show off your farming skills in Southfield and immerse yourself in a fantastic world full of fun!
