The exciting roguelike action game, Ancient Weapon Holly, will be released on March 8 for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam, publishers and developers ACQUIRE and Aniplex announced. The PlayStation 4 version will be available at a later date. The price in Japan will be 1,980 yen.
Extensive language support and demo available
Ancient Weapon Holly will offer support for multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Polish. Players will be able to immerse themselves in the game experience in their preferred language. A demo is now available for PC, allowing players to get a sneak peek before the official release.

The game features Holly, a humanoid weapon sealed deep within a labyrinth due to its potential to cause the downfall of humanity. She awakens after thousands of years with a desire for revenge against humans. Ancient Weapon Holly immerses you in a tense roguelike gaming experience, where you protect the source of your stolen power, the altar. Destroy doors that block your path and aim to overcome the different levels. Use the magic stones you acquire to evolve Holly and expand the altar, thus deepening your strategies.
A story of revenge awakened after millennia
In the past, during the development of advanced civilizations, a war engulfed the world. Among the numerous weapons created, an autonomous weapon resembling a young girl was completed. Her arms could crack the earth like a whip, demolishing any building in her path, and her red eyes mercilessly killed people one after another. This girl was called “Holly” by the people and, due to her overwhelming power, she was sealed deep within the earth. After tens of thousands of years, upon awakening from her slumber in the dark magical ruins, the only emotion she Holly felt was an overwhelming hatred towards humans. “Humanity, perish.” Although her weapon functions have been degraded and she can now only lightly damage the floor or walls, Holly’s vendetta against the upper world has just begun.
