Developer RideonJapan has announced that the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the RPG bar owner simulator, Adventure Bar Story, will be released on February 14 in Japan for 1,540 yen. The Switch version of Adventure Bar Story was released on December 21, 2023. All three versions are also planned to be released in the West at a later date. Adventure Bar Story is currently available for iOS through the App Store and Android through Google Play worldwide. It was originally released for mobile phones in August 2006 in Japan, and has since been ported to iOS, Android, 3DS, and PSP.
Adventure Bar Story transports players to a world where they must save their sister’s tavern from being bought by a wealthy restaurant owner. To do so, they must venture around the world in search of ingredients, fight monsters to obtain exotic ingredients, fish, and grow rare products. In addition, they will have to grow their income, complete missions and win contests to improve their bar and defend themselves from the neighboring restaurant owner.
One of the key features of the game is that characters do not level up by fighting monsters, but instead gain experience by eating. Therefore, preparing delicious dishes for your clients and team members is essential to strengthen them.
