Cooperative first-person shooter “EvilVEvil” will launch this summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC

Toadman Interactive has announced that “EvilVEvil“, the cooperative vampire first-person shooter announced in 2020, will be released this summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam for $19.99. Additionally, the developer has announced that a closed beta for PC is scheduled to begin on March 1.

“EvilVEvil is the ultimate power fantasy, a game that dramatically changes expectations within this genre and allows players to become the hunter rather than the hunted,” Toadman Interactive CEO Ola Nilsson said in a press release. . “We can’t wait for players to join us on this bloody journey.”

In EvilVEvil, players will become an ancient and powerful vampire awakened from his long slumber. They are members of the Order of the Dragon; divinely ordained protectors against Zagreus, an all-powerful evil bent on consuming the essence of humanity to become the most powerful being in the universe. The only way to combat evil is to become evil, so players must give in to their vampiric urges and cause bloody Armageddon throughout EvilVEvil’s rich story campaign, featuring 11 episodic missions for one to three players.

As players carve a bloody path through their victims, artifacts and weapon modifications will be unlocked, allowing them to adapt their playstyle and become more powerful in their unholy battle against the forces of evil. But fighting the legions of Zagreus is not the only thing to consider. Players are rewarded for being the most destructive killing machine and must compete to see who can be the deadliest while fighting hordes of challenging enemies.

“EvilVEvil” will launch this summer with three playable characters: Mashaka, who surprises her enemies with a teleportation ability and then scorches them with her fire magic; Leon, the giant, who chains enemies, luring them towards a devastating fate; and Victoria, the team leader, who can send copies of herself to hunt down enemies and then tear them apart with her deadly katana.
