New forensic investigation simulation game TOKYO PSYCHODEMIC coming May 30

Gravity Game Arise has announced the release of TOKYO PSYCHODEMIC, a forensic investigation simulation game, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 30. A demo is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. In Japan, the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch versions of TOKYO PSYCHODEMIC will be available both physically and digitally for 5,400 yen. First-press copies of the physical edition include a copy of the original soundtrack, which features music from the game, including the ending theme song “Yell (feat. sleep cat & Lil Chill).”

Game Overview:

History: Five percent of murder cases in the world remain unsolved. Re-check those unsolved cases. Collaborate with colleagues who have specialized skills, such as obtaining physical evidence, and solve cases using analytical tools and your own investigative skills. The story revolves around human ESP experiments and “The Abnormal Cult Incident,” as well as the emergence of an unknown virus with an 80 percent mortality rate spreading through Tokyo.

Gameplay:

Research: The investigation of a crime will be based on evidence images from the crime scene, surveillance cameras, etc. Confirm the elements, people and points of interest involved in the case. Especially from security cameras, it is possible to confirm the behavior of victims and others. From the time of the incident, including before and after, each piece of information will allow you to infer why an incident occurred. Use the evidence board to deduce how the collected evidence relates to the case.

With TOKYO PSYCHODEMIC, players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of forensic investigation and solve intriguing cases while uncovering the truth behind unsolved crimes.
