Outward: Definitive Edition coming to Nintendo Switch on March 28

Publisher PLAION and developers Nine Dots Studio and SneakyBox have announced that the Switch version of the open-world fantasy RPG Outward: Definitive Edition will be released on March 28. This version will include the base game along with all the downloadable content released to date, such as “The Three Brothers” and “The Soroboreans,” plus a host of new content and quality of life improvements.

Outward: Definitive Edition is set in the world of Aurai, where players take on the role of an ordinary adventurer defending themselves against threatening creatures, facing dangerous environmental conditions, and staying healthy and hydrated. The version for Nintendo Switch is the result of months of hard work between Nine Dots Studio and Sneaky Box, the developer in charge of leading the efforts to port the game to the hybrid console.

Players will be able to explore cities, dangerous hidden dungeons, and the wilderness as they prepare for their journey by checking their backpacks to ensure they are well equipped. The Definitive Edition will include new weapons, dungeons and quality of life improvements, offering an even more complete experience for Nintendo Switch players.

The release of Outward: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch marks an exciting new stage for this critically acclaimed title, which will now be available for players to enjoy on the popular Nintendo console.
