tinyBuild and DogHowl Games announce closed beta test for Level Zero: Extraction

Publisher tinyBuild and developer DogHowl Games to hold closed beta test for multiplayer pull-out horror first-person shooter Level Zero: Extraction, formerly known as Level Zero, for PC via Steam from March 15 to 18, the companies announced. Registrations are now available.

Game Description: Level Zero: Extraction is a multiplayer extraction horror game, a unique take on the survival experience that combines the pulsating tension of asymmetrical horrors with the high-stakes confrontations of extraction shooters. Embark on a dangerous looting expedition where 3 teams of up to 3 mercenaries compete for loot, and dare to return. Or take on the role of two deadly alien monsters and hunt human prey.

Brutally immersive combat: Venture out alone or as a team, and extract all the valuable loot you can: weapons, gadgets, research data, crafting resources, and more. Your shipping time and inventory space are limited. You will lose almost all of your loot if you die. There are other mercenaries competing for valuables and extraction points. And… player-controlled aliens lurk in the shadows, determined to hunt them all down.

PvPvPvE High Stakes: Level Zero: Extraction features a unique gameplay system, developed from the ground up to deliver an immersive survival experience. Devastate enemies with a vast arsenal of melee weapons such as hammers, bats and machetes, or engage in tense confrontations using pistols, SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles, nail guns, flamethrowers, mines, grenades and more.

Deep progression and customization: Use the loot you’ve mined to increase your reputation with various merchants and purchase better equipment as well as unique items. Or you can collect resources to create new tools at the recycling/crafting station. Each of your firearms can be upgraded and customized with sights, stocks, grips and other accessories.

Survival against all odds: Survive no matter what. Cooperate, be lone wolves, or betray other players. Use a variety of gadgets like motion sensors, light traps or remote controls to your advantage, and make useful tools on the go. Stay calm and be aware of your heartbeat level that could be detected by the monsters.

The power of light: Light is the only thing that can kill aliens, turning every source of illumination into the ultimate weapon and safe haven against them. Strategically, as a mercenary, he uses flares, glow sticks, flashlights, and light traps throughout the map to keep monsters at bay.

Become the Nemesis: When playing as a monster, use powerful alien abilities and team up with another player-controlled beast. Stay in the shadows, scan through walls, deploy living traps, crawl through vents, and emit a high-frequency scream to temporarily turn off all light sources in the area.

Level Zero: Extraction will be released in Early Access for PC via Steam in 2024.
