The popular group battle royale game, Stumble Guys, will arrive on Nintendo Switch along with its upcoming versions for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, developer Scopely announced. These new versions will feature progression and cross-play with previously released versions for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC (Steam), iOS and Android.
The Xbox versions were the most recent release, debuting on January 23rd. Naz Amarchi, senior vice president and general manager of Scopely, said in a press release: “Our Stumble Guys team is proud to deliver new experiences that connect and delight our players, including bringing the ‘Stumbleverse’ to their favorite platforms.” Amarchi added: “With this expansion to Nintendo Switch, we’re making our game more accessible to Stumblers everywhere, no matter where they choose to play, and we welcome new players to join the party.”
Stumble Guys is known for its accessible and competitive gameplay, and is constantly evolving with new worlds to explore. With the regular addition of new mechanics, players can find a multitude of ways to overcome obstacles, whether on foot, in vehicles, or in first-person “Stumbler” mode.
Powered by community-driven gameplay, players can participate in large-scale tournaments and events hosted by leading creators, or play with their friends however they prefer in custom parties. The recent addition of “Stumble Workshop” allows players to contribute to the Stumbleverse by creating and sharing their own custom courses with the community.
The launch of Stumble Guys on Nintendo Switch promises to further expand the player base and deliver an exciting, socially connected gaming experience for users of Nintendo’s hybrid console.
