The remastered version of Riviera: The Promised Land is coming to PC, iOS and Android


Developer Sting has announced that the remastered version of Riviera: The Promised Landwhich launched today for Switch via the Nintendo eShop in Japan, will also be available for PC via Steam, as well as iOS and Android devices at a later date.

Riviera: The Promised Land is the first entry in the Department of Heaven Episodes and comes to Switch in this remastered version with several additional features that significantly improve gameplay. From new players to returning players, the game is full of satisfying elements.

Key features of the game include:

  • Field exploration with simple controls.
  • A unique battle system where abilities are determined by the items you possess.
  • Who will you make friends? An affection system that changes according to your decisions.
  • More than 90 static illustrations animate event scenes.
  • The power to destroy everything… Cooperate with your companions to stop the “Divine Punishment” and prevent the annihilation of Riviera!

Remastered features include the ability to switch background music between five different sound sources, play at up to 5x speed, skip event scenes, all artwork in HD resolution, auto-save feature, level options difficulty and game mode that increase playability, among others.

It’s important to note that the game’s text is only available in Japanese, but players can switch between Japanese and English voices. The remastered version will also include touchscreen support and a more user-friendly interface.
