Bandai Namco announces Gakuen The Idolmaster for iOS and Android


Bandai Namco has recently announced the release of Gakuen The Idolmaster for iOS and Android devices. This new school idol training simulation game is coming to Japan this spring, giving fans the chance to immerse themselves in the exciting world of The Idolmaster.

In Gakuen The Idolmaster, players will find themselves at the Hatsuboshi Gakuen idol training school, where they take on the role of a new student in the producer department. Your mission will be to discover and train unique idol candidates in the idol department, helping them achieve their dreams and developing their charms as they become full-fledged idols.

Main features of the game:

  • Improvement in singing and dancing: As players begin to produce idols, their singing and dancing skills will still have a long way to go. Players will need to grow these skills through their production and aim to pass the exams. In the concert stages that will be held after the exams, the idols’ stage performance will change as they grow up.
  • Growth as an idol leads to growth as a person: As the players produce, personal stories will develop between them and the idols, revealing their flaws as idols, the problems they keep hidden… As a producer, the players will grow closer to the idols, They will deepen their bonds and aim to become a top idol together!

Additionally, starting March 13, a livestream titled “Hatsuboshi Gakuen Home Room” will be held every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. JST. Each week, the voice cast will join in one-on-one to introduce each idol and share more information about the game, which is sure to excite fans eager to learn more about this exciting installment of The Idolmaster.
