Top Hat Studios announced that it will publish “under the island“, the 2D action RPG developed by Slime King Games, which was announced in March 2021. The game will be available for PC through Steam, with other platforms and a release date to be announced in the future. Additionally, it will be playable at PAX East 2024, which will take place March 21-24 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Slime King Games was founded by former Daedalic Entertainment developers Simone Grunewald (art director and head of Daedalic Entertainment for almost 10 years) and Johannes Grunewald (senior animator and artist) in 2020. They have previously worked on titles such as the Deponia series and “ The Pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follett.
