Nintendo has now removed all reference to VRR for TV play

Nintendo has now removed all traces of VRR from the American, Japanese, Canadian, and European sites. The rollout of the removal of the text began yesterday and has since been removed. The removal was spotted by Digital Foundry reporter Oliver Mackenzie who was initially perplexed by the removal of the text from the company’s regional website’s. No doubt the company will issue a statement due course.

Original:

“Take in all the detail with screen resolutions up to 4K when you connect the Nintendo Switch 2 system to a compatible TV using the dedicated dock. The system also supports HDR, VRR, and
frame rates up to 120 fps on compatible TVs.”
