Nintendo reveals it began working on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2019


We reported earlier that Nintendo is taking accessory manufacturer Genki to court due to the aforementioned company infringing its trademark, as well as unfair competition and false advertising. What’s interesting is that in the court papers it is revealed that Nintendo started working on the new platform shortly after they released the original Nintendo Switch system with “formal hardware development beginning around 2019.”
