Annapurna Interactive and development team Open Roads Team have revealed that the game “Open Roads” will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC through Steam in February 2024. In addition, it was confirmed that the game will be part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
“Open Roads” presents a captivating story that follows Tess Devine and her mother, Opal, who, on a beautiful fall day, discover a collection of old notes and letters carefully stored in the attic of their home. They reveal hints of deep-rooted family secrets, decades-old thefts, and a lost treasure somewhere near the Canadian border. Although it suggests a dark mystery that would be best left alone, Tess and Opal are unwilling to do so.
In “Open Roads,” mother and daughter embark on a road trip to explore a series of long-abandoned family properties, unearthing the past. They will tour the ruins of these places that hold buried memories, things that Opal has tried to forget for years. As they search for the truth they have been searching for, they will discover not only hidden family secrets, but also a deeper connection between the two of them.
The Switch version of “Open Roads” was recently announced, expanding the game’s availability to an even wider range of platforms. With an intriguing plot and an intimate exploration of the past, “Open Roads” promises to offer players an emotional and eye-opening experience when it launches in February 2024.
