The truth about ARC Raiders blueprint drops revealed: Vulcano, Tempest, Bobcat, and Snaphook's latest patch acquisition requirements and the perfect route for each event.
ARC Raiders attracts many players as a tense extraction shooter that combines PvPvE elements. In this game, blueprints are the basis for creating weapons, gadgets, and enhancement parts. In particular, the high-performance weapon blueprints Vulcano, Tempest, Bobcat, and Snaphook have become a hot topic among players due to their difficulty in obtaining them, as they dramatically improve combat efficiency.
However, many players have confusing information such as “Which event will the drop occur?'' and “Is there a bias depending on the map?'' and many players end up repeating the rounds in vain. With the latest patch, we've analyzed the data and found that blueprint drop tables are completely independent for each event. In this article, based on that fact, we will explain in detail the specific acquisition conditions and the most efficient route. By reading this, you will be able to significantly reduce wasted time and ensure that you have the blueprints in place.

Demystifying blueprint drops: The truth revealed in the latest patch
Obtaining blueprints is not just a matter of chance, but a combination of events and maps. In the past, there have been reports such as “Vulcano appearing in normal raids'' and “Tempest falling in storms,'' but video evidence and large-scale data analysis have revealed that these are extremely rare exceptions or misidentifications.
Blueprints mainly appear from the following locations:
- Containers (drawers, lockers, weapon cases)
- Raider's treasure chest (buried in the ground, it makes a clicking sound when you approach it)
- ARC reconnaissance plane (black sphere, effective for shooting using trees and obstacles)
They can also be obtained stably from quest rewards and trials (released at level 15, updated weekly), but especially rare blueprints are mainly dropped in the field. In the latest patch, the loot multiplier for night raids has been increased and the overall blueprint appearance rate has been improved.
The most important point is that each event has a completely independent drop table. Night attack tables, electromagnetic storm tables, and hidden bunker tables each exist separately, and it is extremely inefficient to aim at them in unrelated events. Furthermore, the bias between each map has become clear: Blue Gate tends to be strong on augments, Industrial Zone is strong on weapons, and Buried City is strong on medium-rare blueprints. By understanding and utilizing these laws, it is possible to obtain multiple blueprints in one raid.
Vulcano blueprint: Confirmed acquisition route limited to hidden bunker event
Vulcano is a shotgun that boasts overwhelming close-range firepower and is a trump card in close combat. Almost the only guaranteed condition for obtaining this blueprint is the hidden bunker event that occurs on the spaceport map. During the event, a drop lottery will be held from containers throughout the area, but from my experience it is a low number of about 1-2%. Therefore, it is important to prioritize searching for breakthrough rooms and weapon cases inside the bunker.
The optimal route is as follows.
- Check the spaceport + hidden bunker occurrence on the map selection screen
- After sortieing, move to the bunker entrance in the shortest distance.
- Break through the entrance with C4 or shotgun
- Open all internal lockers, drawers, and weapon cases.
- Collect external containers as much as possible
- Escape immediately using the raider hatch (keep the blueprint in your safety pocket)
The hidden bunker is a high-tier area, so PvP is likely to be intense. If you are going solo, avoid going out at night and use team play to ensure cover. According to the analysis data, reports of Vulcano appearing outside of the hidden bunker are close to zero, so persisting anywhere else is a waste of time. Although it rarely appears from trial rewards, the event cycle is overwhelmingly fast. If you play 5 to 10 times a day, you are almost guaranteed to get one.
Tempest Blueprint: Specialized orbiting that dramatically increases efficiency for night attacks only
Tempest is an SMG that can fire at high speed and has excellent suppressive power at medium range. This blueprint is extremely biased toward night raid events, and there are no reliable reports of daytime raids or electromagnetic storms. During night raids, the loot multiplier increases significantly, and it is not uncommon for blueprints to appear more than three times as often as during the day.
Below are some particularly efficient maps and routes.
- Dam battlefield: northwest apartment complex (many containers, low risk), southeast test annex, central water gate breakthrough room
- Buried City: Space Travel Rooftop Breakthrough Room (Low competition rate, easy to reach even empty-handed)
- Blue Gate: Weapon case in the security building (white/blue container)
The procedure for going around is to select a map where a night attack is occurring and search drawers and lockers with top priority. Server cabinets are also highly likely. If an ARC reconnaissance plane appears, destroy it immediately. You can go through a large number of containers in 10 to 15 minutes per raid, so just aiming for a night raid will dramatically improve your efficiency. If the starting position is far away, it is an important technique to gracefully surrender and move on to the next map.
Bobcat Blueprint: A reality that was limited to Lockgate in the past and is currently unavailable.
The Bobcat is a pistol with high accuracy and rate of fire, but now that the Lockgate event has been removed, it is no longer available in the field. We have not been able to confirm any drop footage in the latest version.
The current workaround is as follows.
- Wait for the event to return (check patch notes one by one)
- Aim for a pistol with similar performance (such as an Osprey) in trials or quests
- Purchase from other players on the market (market price is around 5000 coins)
At this point, it can be said that the blueprint is completely on standby. As an alternative, we recommend collecting Bettina blueprints first.
Snaphook's electromagnetic storm drop: Container specialized strategy with abnormal bias
The Snaphook is a grappling hook gadget that allows you to move in all directions. This blueprint has an extremely high container loot multiplier in the electromagnetic storm event, and has a spawn rate of more than 5 times that of other events.
Particularly targeted locations are as follows.
- Spaceport: Container storage breakthrough room (lots of desk drawers and cylindrical weapon cases)
- Electromagnetic storm on all maps: Raider treasure chests scattered around the perimeter (low risk of contact)
If you select the electromagnetic storm map and prioritize hunting for large green cases and bleach boxes, you may be able to collect multiple copies in a short period of time. It is also attractive for solo players and has low risk.
How to make the most of event-specific blueprint tables and map bias
The blueprint drop table is completely separate as shown below.
- Hidden bunker: Vulcano almost 100%
- Night attack: Tempest, lots of augments
- Electromagnetic Storm: Snap hook, weapon parts stand out
- Daytime raid: Low probability of general blueprints
The bias between each map is also strong,
- Aomon: Augment abnormality occurs during night attack
- Industrial area: Weapon blueprints are concentrated
- Buried City: Medium rare blueprints are easy to aim for (especially on the Space Travel rooftop)
- Dam Battlefield: Apartment complex that is easy to navigate even for beginners
By combining these rules, you will be able to pinpoint the desired blueprint.
The best solution and general tips when blueprints are not available
If it does not come out, take the following actions immediately.
- Change events and maps instantly (staying in the same place is inefficient)
- Maintain the priority order of night attack → daytime → electromagnetic storm
- Search all drawers and lockers
- Be sure to have a safety pocket
- Achieve 3 stars in the trial at the same time.
- Make sure to sortie empty-handed, and gracefully surrender if the situation is far away.
Adhering to these basics will dramatically reduce your average acquisition time.
Summary: Understanding the conditions can increase efficiency by more than 10 times
Obtaining blueprints is not a matter of luck, but depends on clear conditions.
Vulcano is a hidden bunker, Tempest is a night attack, Bobcat is waiting for revival, and Snaphook is fully specialized in electromagnetic storms. Just by following this rule, you should be able to realize that your circulation efficiency will increase by more than 10 times.
