Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno has proclaimed in a recent interview with The Game Business that he wants the Nintendo Switch 2 to be the home of horror games. He points out the GameCube, which had a slew of excellent horror themed games such as Eternal Darkness and the Resident Evil series etc. Babieno says that he himself is a massive Nintendo fan and says that he’s excited to bring Cronos: The New Dawn to the platform.
“I’m trying to make my personal dreams come true. I am a huge Nintendo fan. I grew up with Nintendo consoles. The most important horrors, like Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 4… were available on Nintendo GameCube. It was a gold time for Nintendo fans. In some ways, we would like to be the one to open a new chapter for Nintendo right now.”
He added: “We have some plans. We are not able to share our vision for the future yet. But definitely Nintendo fans could take a look at Bloober Team.”
