Square Enix has announced that the total worldwide digital sales and shipment figures for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince They have exceeded one million units. The game was released for Switch on December 1, 2023 worldwide.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince immerses you in a fantastical world on a quest for revenge. Psaro, cursed and unable to harm anything with monster blood, he must become a Monster Tamer to create an army for battle. Hunting high-ranking monsters takes Psaro through Nadiria’s ever-changing seasons and unique environments, with rivers of bubbling lava, mysterious ancient ruins, and tall cake towers. On his journey, Psaro meets the compassionate elf, Rose, who joins his adventure in search of increasingly stronger monsters.
