Everything announced in Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase


The Xbox Showcase 2025 has just concluded, and with it a bunch of new reveals and updates for existing Xbox games have just been thrown out for your viewing pleasure. It was a hefty show, with plenty to look over, marking a lot to look out for those Xbox fans out there.

Below, we’ve covered all the major announcements during the Xbox Showcase, with trailers included alongside every game we saw, so consider this your one-stop-shop for everything we saw during the event! In addition, if you want more info on a particular reveal, we’ll link to the dedicated news article within the appropriate section.

The Outer Worlds 2

And we’re off! First up is The Outer Worlds 2, which got a new gameplay trailer at the very start of the Xbox Games Showcase. In it, we saw a variety of new locations, rifts that are threatening the colonies, and plenty of anti-capitalist commentary as you’d expect. Plus, plenty of first person shooter action with new weapons and enemies on display. A chunky trailer for a much-anticipated upcoming game.

High on Life 2

Out first World Premiere! High on Life 2 got a new reveal trailer, showing off a lot of that distinct humour and fast-paced action (although this isn’t a gameplay trailer, keep that in mind.)

High on Life 2 is coming this winter to Xbox, PC, and PS5.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Next up is Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which got a cinematic reveal trailer. It’s coming 2026 to Xbox, PS5, and PC.

ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X

Now for some hardware! We got our first look at the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X, handheld consoles! The X has an AMD Ryzen 72 Extreme under the hood 24GB memory and 1TB of storage! On the other hand, the regular version has an AMD Ryzen Z2A, 16GB of memory and 512GB of memory.

Hollow Knight: Silksong still coming out in 2025

Following the handheld reveal, it was stated ON CAMERA and LIVE that Hollow Knight: Silksong is coming out this year.

The Blood of Dawnwalker

Here’s something cool! We got a gameplay trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker! In it we see what the game will actually play like! A visceral action game filled with all manner of vampiric goodness for to gorge yourself on. It’s out in 2026 on the Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5.

Super Meat Boy 3D

Oh my word! Super Meat Boy 3D just got announced! It’s coming in Early 2026 to XBox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Ninja Gaiden 4

Finally we got some gameplay for Ninja Gaiden 4! Developed by Platinum Games, we saw all that lovely punchy close quarter combat you’d expect from the developer who made Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Loads of lengthy combos, aerial juggles, and bloody action. Lovely!

It’s coming on the 21st October, 2025 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants

Here’s something interesting for all your spelunkers. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is getting some story DLC! The Order of Giants is set to release on the 4th September 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Beast of Reincarnation

Beast of Reincarnation was just revealed, a third-person action game where you and your lovely dog take on all manner of giant daunting looking monsters. It’s being made by Gamefreak too, which is cool. It’s coming in 2026 to Xbox Serie X|S, PS5, and PC.

Clockwork Revolution

Well well well, if it isn’t a gameplay trailer for Clockwork Revolution. In this trailer we see a bunch of action, shooting, dialogue, a bit of character customisation, and a whole lot of world building. Clockwork Revolution is set to launch… “in due time”.

Grounded 2

Oh this a nice surprise! Grounded 2 has just been revealed with a fun new gameplay trailer! It’s coming on the 29th of July, 2025 to Game Preview, on Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Cronos: The New Dawn

Time to get spooky! Cronos: The New Dawn got a gameplay trailer, showing off some haunting third person survival horror in a sci-fi setting. Looks pretty darn good to me! It’s set to launch in Fall 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Worm Cult

An update for you MMO heads out there. The Elder Scrolls Online is getting Seasons of the Worm Cult on the 18th June 2025. Later in October the game’s first server-wide event with world changing possibilities will be coming too.

Aphelion

A reveal trailer for Don’t Nod’s next game is up next. Aphelion is a sci-fi game in which you must survive a dangerous planet you’ve found yourself marooned on. Looks pretty cool, and Don’t Nod have put out some bangers. It’s coming in 2026 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

No Ghosts at the Grand

Our next world premiere comes via No Ghosts at the Grand, a paranormal village decoration / refurbishing, cleaning game with a mystery at its core. Looks interesting! There’s also a talking cat sidekick, which counts for a lot. It’s coming in 2026 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Age of Mythology: Retold (Heavenly Spear update)

RTS lovers finally get some attention with Age of Mythology: Retold, which got a new gameplay trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase. A whole new Japanese pantheon is being added to the game with the Heavenly Spear update, which is sure to go down well with those deeply invested.

The Heavenly Spear update will be coming in Fall 2025 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

This one is a feast for the eyes. We got a world premiere for Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf, a wonderful looking platformer coming in 2026 to Xbox, PS5, and PC.

Animo

Love me a cute game every now and again. If you’re the same, then Animo might be one for you! It just got revealed, with a new gameplay trailer, in which you can control various adorable little creatures and take on battles out in the world. Nice! It comes to Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4

Would you look at that, a launch trailer for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 was shown off by Tony Hawk himself at the Xbox Showcase! Even Bam Margera is there, alongside a bunch of remade maps from the original games. Plus, Doom Guy is a playable character!

You can play the demo today too! If you want the full game’s release date, it’s dropping on the 11th July, 2025 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

At Fate’s End

Another world premiere, and another gorgeous game to look at! At Fate’s End was just announced, a lush looking 2D game I’ll be keeping an eye on. It’s coming out in 2026 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Gears of War: Reloaded

Gears of War: Reloaded, a remake of the original Gears of War with plenty of visual updates and touch ups, is coming out on the 26th August, 2025. It’ll be available on the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Persona 4 Revival

A blink and you’ll miss it reveal of Persona 4 Revival was shown off, with perhaps seven seconds of gameplay. No release date for it, but it’s coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Sea of Thieves season 17: Smugglers Tide

An update for Sea of Thieves was revealed, it’s Smugglers Tide. It looks as though in the games 17th season players will be able to get up to no good. Well, more so than usual. It’s coming out in August 2025 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

Invincible Vs

Out of nowhere comes an Invincible fighting game called Invincible Vs! We get to see a few characters punch it out, blood galore obviously. It’s coming out in 2026 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

FF7 Remake: Intergrade is coming to Xbox this winter, while Final Fantasy 16 is out on Xbox today!

Keeper

A weird one, but weird is good! Keeper is a new open world game in which you control what appears to be a light house with creepy legs carrying it around. It comes out on the 17th October 2025 to Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Phil Spencer says new Fable, Forza, Gears of War: E-Day coming next year. Teases something Halo related

Before the final trailer, Phil Spencer took the stage to thank folks for watching a look to the future. Spencer stated: “Players will get to celebrate 25 years of Xbox with a new Fable, the next Forza, Gears of War: E-Day, and the return of a classic that has been with us since the beginning.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

A final reveal for the show comes in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, taking what looks to be a major departure from the realistic approach we’ve seen all these years. Mason is back, which means T.V static and mind-bending narrative twists. No release date nor window as of yet.
