Hollow Knight: Silksong was one of the most wanted video games of all-time and players flocked to digital storefronts to download a copy, causing some of them to temporarily crash due to the overwhelming traffic. Now it has emerged that the game is already a third of the way to the original game Hollow Knight’s total sales with PC platform Steam leading the charge. According to rough data Hollow Knight: Silksong has sold around 500k copies on PlayStation and Switch as well as reaching 1.5m downloads on Xbox Game Pass. Team Cherry has yet to announce official sales numbers, but undoubtedly they are huge.
