The downloadable content featuring the characters Kaido and Yamato will be released alongside Onigashima Battle Luffy as part of “The Battle of Onigashima Pack” for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 in September, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Omega Force announced. As previously announced, two additional DLC packs, each featuring three characters, are also planned.
Also announced today are three additional episodes that will be released as downloadable content. Each episode can be purchased individually or as part of the “Additional Episodes Pack”. The first episode, “Additional Episode #1: ‘Yamato’s Logbook’ & Soul Sea Map 1”, will allow players to travel alongside Yamato, whose guide is the “Oden Logbook”, through various stages. “Soul Sea Map 1” will allow players to gain new abilities and strengthen characters beyond the limits of their existing stats and abilities. Release dates for the episodes were not announced.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. This news is sure to excite One Piece anime and manga fans who are enjoying the gameplay experience in Pirate Warriors 4.
