Narrative RPG “The Thaumaturge” delays its release to February 20, 2024


Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Fool’s Theory have announced a delay in the release date of the narrative RPG “The Thaumaturge“, which was initially planned for December 5. The new release date will be February 20, 2024. The game will be available for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, with versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series scheduled for a later date.

In a press release, 11 bit studios explained: “Mastering the mystic arts is an ambitious endeavor, and so is game development when you refuse to compromise on quality.” With this in mind, 11 bit studios and Fool’s Theory have mutually decided to give “The Thaumaturge” game additional development time to reach the standards that players expect from them. “As the final touches were put on the game in recent weeks, the team saw an opportunity to add more polish and quality, and given the comfort of allowing themselves extra time, the decision was made to delay.”
