Red Art Games and SUNSOFT Announce Global Launch of Ufouria: The Saga 2

Red Art Games and SUNSOFT have announced that the roguelike action game Ufouria: The Saga 2 will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam starting March 1 worldwide. In Japan, the game will arrive a day early, on February 29, for all platforms. In addition, a physical edition is planned to be released in the third quarter of 2024.

In North America, Video Games Plus will distribute ESRB-rated physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Switch for $39.99. Meanwhile, in Europe, Red Art Games will distribute PEGI-rated physical editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch for €39.99. They will also offer an exclusive Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch at the same price, limited to 500 copies per platform, which will include a copy of the game with a reversible cover, an exclusive case with alternative cover art inspired by the original cover of the Japanese game, a manual and a CD with the soundtracks of Ufouria: The Saga and Ufouria: The Saga 2.

SUNSOFT describes the game as a true evolution of the original Ufouria, with roguelike gameplay elements that offer a fresh experience in every game. Players will venture into a unique world made of craft materials, with charming characters and settings transformed from the original pixelated graphics to felt crafts. Additionally, the levels change randomly with each match, ensuring a new challenge with each game.

With a mix of nostalgia and novelty, Ufouria: The Saga 2 promises to take players on an exciting adventure full of action, exploration and unique challenges.
