Sci-Fi Horror Adventure Game Boyhood’s End Delays First Episode to Spring 2024


Publishers WSS playground and PLAYISM, along with developer Bukiri Clock, have announced a delay in the release of the first episode of the episodic sci-fi horror adventure game, Boyhood’s End. Initially scheduled for fall 2023, the game is now expected to be available in spring of next year for PC via Steam.

Boyhood’s End presents an intriguing plot set in a world of youth science fiction and horror. The story follows Giovanni, the protagonist, in a world ruled by a mechanical dictator named “R. Karellen.” In this world, every aspect of a person’s life is ranked with a “human score,” and R. Karellen makes decisions ranging from academic and professional careers to romantic interests and daily meals.

Giovanni, with the lowest human score of the entire human race, faces special treatment and constant harassment. However, an unexpected twist occurs when everything in the school begins to attack Giovanni, propelling a narrative where he and his adventure partner, Campanella, embark on a journey to find the “Crimson Southern Cross” at the farthest edge of the world. universe.

The game promises an immersive experience with its hand-drawn pixel art, animated conversations between characters, and a focus on puzzle solving and world exploration. Through encounters with past leaders, twisted mysteries, and various horrors, players must confront the inevitable end of their own childhood.
