Spike Chunsoft has announced that total shipments and digital sales for “Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island” has exceeded 200,000 units in Japan. This achievement makes this installment the best-selling of the series and sets a new sales record.
“Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island” launched for Nintendo Switch on January 25 in Japan and is scheduled for a worldwide release on February 27. This new installment follows the adventures of Shiren the Wanderer and his companion, Koppa the talking ferret, in a new roguelike dungeon adventure on Serpentcoil Island.
Players embark on a quest to rescue a mysterious girl who is being held captive by a fearsome monster. Serpentcoil Island, a remote location rumored to be the lost stronghold of treasure-hoarding pirates, is the setting for this exciting story.
