Softstar Entertainment announces Tales of Three Kingdoms: The Mortal World, a 2.5D turn-based RPG for PC


Softstar Entertainment has revealed the development of Tales of Three Kingdoms: The Mortal Worlda 2.5D turn-based RPG coming to PC via Steam in 2024. The game, set in the Three Kingdoms period, promises to immerse players in a unique experience.

According to the description on the Steam page, Tales of Three Kingdoms: The Mortal World follows the story of Dou Fu, the protagonist, who has always sought to lead a discreet life in this chaotic period. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he meets the “Princess” of the Han dynasty. From this meeting, Dou Fu becomes involved in a series of events that will trigger various situations and challenges throughout of the game.

The central aspect of combat in the game is the “Combo”. Players will be able to link different character abilities in a single move to defeat their enemies. Additionally, the general recruitment mechanic plays a crucial role. Players will be able to recruit various heroes from the Three Kingdoms to form the best possible team.
