- US gamers can get a 30% discount, with Split Fiction down to just $35 from $49.99.
Not only does that net you the game, but it includes a Friend Pass so you can share a full copy of the game with a pal. It’s just as well, too, since the game can only be played in co-op.
Split Fiction tells a tale of two writers, Mio and Zoe, dragged into a machine that makes their worlds of science fiction and fantasy come to life. In true Hazelight fashion, that means a huge array of diverse gameplay scenarios, like leaping between sections of a floating train across a cyberpunk city, and riding on the backs of dragons.
A superb blend of platforming and puzzle mechanics, we’d be very surprised in Split Fiction isn’t in the ‘Game of the Year’ conversation come December.
When the game launched in March, our very own Katharine Castle gave Split Fiction the full five stars out of five and said “Fantastic from start to finish, Split Fiction is one of the most inventive and joyful co-op games to date, and a testament to the power of human imagination.”
