Square cutscene artist now at Monolith Soft as freelance cutscene director


Monolith Soft has been seeing lots of growth lately. Nintendo owns 100% of the company now, but the company behind the Xenoblade Chronicles games, including the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, now has around 300 people that are working there. One of the new arrivals, however, might make you a little curious.

It has been discovered on Daisuke Honda’s LinkedIn page that, as of 5 months ago, he is now working at Monolith Soft as a freelance cutscene director. Previously, he worked as a cutscene artist at Square Enix. Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 16 are just some of the games that he worked on.
