Square Enix has revealed that the open beta of Final Fantasy XIV for Xbox Series will begin on February 21 at 12:00 am PT / 3:00 am ET. This open beta will contain the same content, features and limitations as the free trial, with the exception of the ability to make optional purchases in the online store. The free trial, including the open beta, will not require an Xbox Game Pass Core or Ultimate membership to play. However, the full release of Final Fantasy XIV for Xbox Series will require one of these memberships.
