Dead Island 2 released on PC via Steam

Publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios have announced that the PC version of Dead Island 2 It will be available on Steam starting April 22. To celebrate this announcement, Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition will be available for free on PC via Steam from today until February 15, and Dead Island: Retro Revenge will be available at a 75 percent discount.

Dead Island 2, which was initially released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store on April 21, 2023, is now coming to the Steam platform, giving PC players the opportunity to immerse yourself in the zombie action of Los Angeles, or as it is known in the game, HELL-A.

Game description: Dead Island 2

Located in Los Angeles, known as HELL-A in Dead Island 2, players choose between one of six survivors turned zombie hunters: Amy, Bruno, Dani, Ryan, Carla and Jacob, each with their own personality and a unique range of skills, which can be customized using the new skill card system.

With the thriving city of LA quarantined due to the deadly zombie virus, the immune hunters must embark on an epic, gore-filled journey to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and the horrific transformation they have undergone after being bitten by a zombie.

Dead Island 2 delivers a more intense zombie combat experience than ever thanks to Dambuster’s FLESH (Fully Locational Evisceration System for Humanoids), which makes zombie dismemberment gloriously gory. To aid in this carnage, there is a wide variety of vicious weapons, combat-intensifying mods, and abilities to craft and equip, allowing players to build their own unique and devastating arsenal.

Additionally, there are dozens of different types of zombies, each with their own mutations, attacks, and LA-themed variations. If players need help, they can invite friends to co-op (up to three players) and ensure a long stay in HELL-A.
