MoonHood announces horror game made of clay for PC and consoles


MoonHood, a new studio founded by the creative minds behind hit titles like Lost in Random, Ghost Giant, and Faith, has officially announced its creation. They are currently working on a disturbing game made of clay that will be published by Fast Travel Games and will be available on consoles, PC and virtual reality platforms.

According to the press release, this mysterious game will immerse players in strange worlds created from tangible materials, such as real clay, which are transformed into detailed 3D models. The game description mentions: “In the game, players will follow a moving but dark story as they explore innovative gameplay mechanics and face horrific monsters, traversing a landscape as strange as it is beautiful.”

MoonHood was founded by Klaus Lyngeled and Olov Redmalm. Lyngeled served as creative director at Zoink Games from 2003 to 2022 and as CEO from 2001 to 2022. For his part, Redmalm worked at Zoink Games for seven years, holding roles as a concept artist, 3D artist and art director, in addition to being the game director of Lost in Random and Ghost Giant.

Klaus Lyngeled, co-director of MoonHood, commented in the press release: “Our team at MoonHood is exploring a new creative path with our studio’s debut title, using organic media and 3D scanning to transport physical art into the digital landscape.
