Dead Island 2’s first story expansion, “Haus,” will be released on November 2

Publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios have announced the release of the first story expansion for Dead Island 2, titled “Haus”. The expansion will be available starting November 2 and promises to take players to a nightmarish world in a psychedelic horror setting.

In “Haus,” players will enter a surreal and terrifying world as they investigate a mysterious cult in Malibu during the zombie apocalypse. The expansion offers players a completely new storyline to combat the undead. In the midst of the Zompocalypse, a billionaire’s secret technological cult fights for its survival in Haus, where humanity is freed from its moral constraints. The group’s leader, Konstantin, prophesies that this is the “paradigm of a new future.” It will be up to the players to prove them wrong.

Players will take on Haus with new weapons and cards, which they will need to use against the growing population of undead in search of their next meal. “Haus” is set in a completely new location: a mysterious and elegant villa in Malibu where the limits of morality are pushed to the limit. This nightmarish place serves as both a sanctuary and a machine for stripping the flesh and harvesting the soul.

Players will navigate through the disrupted labyrinth of biomes where rational architecture is subverted by expanding narrative spaces. “Dead Island 2” is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through the Epic Games Store. This expansion promises to take the game experience to a new level of horror and excitement, and is an exciting addition for fans of the series. Get ready to face your worst nightmares at “Haus” starting November 2!
