Konami announces Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Switch and PC (Steam)

Konami, a renowned video game company, has excited fans by announcing the launch of Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for two of today’s most popular platforms: Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam. This news comes as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the acclaimed Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, which took place on February 4.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection promises to be a true feast for nostalgic fans and fans of the franchise, as it will include multiple classic titles that marked the beginning of the saga. These include iconic games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist, originally released in 2000 for the Game Boy Color handheld console, as well as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2, released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance.

Update 02/05/24: Global release confirmed! Konami has revealed that the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will be available to players around the world. This news comes after the special event “Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century” held in Tokyo, Japan.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is presented as a unique opportunity for Western fans, as it will include titles that were previously only available in the Japanese market. One of the confirmed games is Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists, a gem of the Game Boy Color that until now had not seen the light of day outside of Japan.

More details about this exciting collection are expected to be revealed in the coming months, so fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! You should stay tuned to find out all the news.
