Metroidvania Somber Echoes game announced for PC


Publisher Bonus Stage Publishing and developer Rock Pocket Games have announced side-scrolling Metroidvania game Somber Echoes. It will be released for PC via Steam this fall.

About Somber Echoes Take the role of the resurrected Adrestia and embark on an epic journey to stop your twin sister from undoing the universe. Master acrobatic combat, explore the Greco-Roman spaceship Atromitos, and shape your destiny in Somber Echoes.

History A cataclysmic event turned both beautiful and proud Greco-Roman spaceship Atromitos into breeding grounds for infested horrors from an unknown dimension. In the chaos, a mysterious force decides to interfere with destiny and awaken Adrestia from the rubble and ashes. As Adrestia, you try to stop your twin sister Harmonia from undoing the universe, but many questions remain unanswered. In search of answers, you explore the vast spaceship while gaining powers, knowledge and abilities that could shape your ultimate destiny.
