Game Pill announces HANGRY, a “snack ‘n slash” RPG for PC

Ontario-based developer Game Pill has announced HANGRY, a “snack ‘n slash” RPG coming to PC through Steam. Although a release date has not been announced, the game currently displays the PlayStation and Epic Games Store logos on its official website. However, a Game Pill representative told Gematsu that “HANGRY is targeting a release on Steam later this year, but we’d love to bring it to as many stores and platforms as possible. Regarding additional logos on the website, we are an independent studio and created the website to accommodate future plans as needed, but it is currently only available on Steam.”

About HANGRY In HANGRY, players take on the role of the hungry hero, Hangry, who works for Goutra, the owner and chef of a dirty diner in the underworld of a city where food is king. Goutra’s greed is as insatiable as Hangry’s appetite, who must travel the galaxy hunting delicious monsters and collecting the best products for the sake of the diner, and his stomach! However, he must not eat the merchandise!

“Snack ‘n Slash” Combat Players will be able to unleash Hangry’s insatiable appetite with “Hangry Mode,” increasing his size and boosting his combat skills to devour enemies of epic proportions. Navigate through the chaos as you take on multiple enemies at once, each with their own unique challenges. Upgrade your weapons and powers to adapt and thrive in combat, experimenting with different combinations to create your own combat style.

Key Features

  • Explore vibrant and diverse lands, from barbecue forests to candy-covered caverns.
  • Engage in fast-paced action combat as you stalk and hunt fearsome but delicious monsters.
  • Improve Hangry’s internal stats, skills, and weapons by consuming raw enemies or cooking hard-earned ingredients.

With HANGRY, Game Pill promises a gaming experience packed with action, humor and delicious combat, sure to satisfy gamers’ appetite for adventure. Stay tuned for more details on the release date and additional platforms where the game will be available.
