Nightdive Studios delays the release of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion remastered to November 30

Nightdive Studios has announced a slight delay in the release of the remastered version of the first-person shooter Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion. Originally scheduled for November 14, players will now be able to enjoy the game starting November 30. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC through Steam.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is a faithful restoration of the classic first-person shooter originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64. The game has been enhanced using Nightdive Studios’ exclusive KEX engine to adapt to modern gaming devices, offering higher resolution up to 4K at 120 frames per second. This installment completes the trilogy along with the popular remasters of Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.

The game features improved gameplay, high-resolution textures, improved lighting and rendering, and support for console gamepads with platform-specific features. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is the first Nightdive Studios title to use the latest version of the KEX engine, which uses an enhanced renderer to achieve a higher level of visual fidelity in 3D models, textures and graphical effects.

In Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion, players can choose between dual protagonists Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, siblings of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil protagonist Joshua Fireseed. Together, they must defeat the titular antagonist, Oblivion, and his followers, the Flesh Eaters, after the supposed death of his brother at his hands.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the excitement of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion when it launches on November 30!
