GINKA visual novel coming to PC via Steam on October 26

Frontwing has announced that the visual novel GINKA will be released for PC via Steam on October 26. This exciting news brings a unique experience for visual novel lovers with language options in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

GINKA, Frontwing’s latest visual novel, is the work of a talented creative team including Asta Konno and Yusano, the duo behind ATRI: My Dear Moments. The story takes us to a mystery surrounding the disappearance of Aoba Ryusei’s childhood friend, Shinomiya Ginka, five years ago, on the night of the summer festival. The island’s superstitious inhabitants believed it was an act of God, saying she had been “kidnapped by spirits.” Now in high school, Ryusei decides to visit the island during summer vacation.

Need to know: Did Ginka ever come back? Could she be living a normal high school life? Unfortunately, her faint hopes are dashed when she discovers that Ginka was never seen again after that night. He prepares to leave dejectedly, but then meets a young woman who looks exactly like his missing childhood friend: Ginka. “Welcome back, Ryusei.” The girl does not know her own name. All she knows is that she loves Ryusei. Where has she been? Why hasn’t she aged? Finally reunited with his long-lost friend, Ryusei vows to have the best summer vacation on the quiet island of his childhood.

Additionally, a Nintendo Switch version of GINKA has been announced, although a release date has not yet been revealed. PC players will be able to immerse themselves in this captivating story starting October 26, and those waiting for the Switch version will have to stay tuned for future announcements. Get ready to embark on this intriguing visual novel adventure!
