Japan: MicroSD Express cards sell out after Switch 2 with more than 337 units sold per hour


Demand for MicroSD Express cards have reached fever pitch thanks to Nintendo’s announcement that they will be the primary external memory cards for the Nintendo Switch 2. Staff at Hermitage Akihabara in Japan have apparently said that that they sold more than 337 cards per hour since the announcement. They are bound to be in high demand once the console launches on 5th June.
