“We are so grateful to the over 4 million of you that have already ventured into Cyrodiil with Oblivion Remastered,” the developer said over a close-up on the face of the Hero of Kvatch. “Thank you!”

Oblivion has been remade by port developer Virtuos’ Paris studio, in collaboration with Bethesda, and this new version is a ground-up remake built in Unreal Engine 5, designed to run at 4K 60fps. There are already over 100 mods available for Oblivion Remastered, even though Bethesda said it won’t offer any official mod support.

If you too are working your way through Oblivion Remastered, but could really do with a few more of a certain item and simply coming across it organically isn’t working out for you, you can find out how to use this glitch to your advantage in our handy guide: How to use Duplicate Items glitch in Oblivion Remastered.
