Publisher Untold Tales and developer Exit Plan have announced that Bang-On Balls: Chronicles will leave its Early Access status and launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 5. It will then also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date.
This open-world, sandbox-style adventure game first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on March 3, 2021, and has been an ever-evolving experience ever since.
Damien Monnier, co-founder of Exit Plan, commented: “Throughout our career, we have created games that demand a high level of production in many aspects. Precise controls, varied gameplay, intelligent level design, a wealth of content, intricate AI systems, and the list goes on. All this to make these massive maps feel alive and be fun to play for hours on end. Despite now being independent developers, we apply the same approach and standards here. The game is fundamentally built around the idea of giving players something that is packed with varied things to do, but is always fun to play. “It’s something that can easily be started for a few minutes of relaxation and feel like you’ve made progress, or be a game you play for 40 hours or more.”
Bang-On Balls: Chronicles offers a 3D platforming experience packed with action and combat, inspired by some of the best games in the genre. Players take on the role of BOB, an energetic hero who embarks on a quest filled with adventure and mayhem. You will be able to explore open worlds full of exciting challenges, formidable enemies and hidden secrets. Each world has its own unique style and mechanics, allowing players to jump from one to the next in search of endless fun.
The game is completely playable solo, but also offers cooperative play modes in both split-screen and online, so you can enjoy the action with friends. Prepare your jumping skills and get ready for fun when Bang-On Balls: Chronicles hits multiple platforms on October 5.
