Silent Hope demo now available for Nintendo Switch and PC

A demonstration of Silent Hope is now available for Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop and for PC via Steam, publishers XSEED Games, Marvelous Europe and Marvelous announced. The demo allows players to delve into the full first level of The Abyss, and progress can be carried over to the full game when it launches. Here’s an overview of the game, courtesy of Marvelous:

In a world without words, what hope is left for humanity? Silent Hope takes place in a once peaceful land, silenced by the ancient King who stole the people’s voices before escaping into the endless abyss known as The Abyss. Following these events, the Princess mourned the actions of her father and cried for her until she was buried by her own crystallized tears. Now, years after these events faded from memory, seven heroes find themselves drawn to the Princess. To free her from her luminous prison, they must brave the depths of The Abyss to find the lost King and reunite the royal family.

Silent Hope takes us back to the glory days of isometric dungeon crawlers while infusing them with a modern approach. Players will take on the role of seven unlikely heroes, each with their own unique weapons, combat styles, and non-fighting jobs. After delving into The Abyss to confront enemies and gather materials, the heroes return to Base Camp to craft, cook, and rest for their next adventure. Each foray into The Abyss will be a fresh experience, with randomized layouts ensuring each excursion has the element of chance, with even greater dangers lurking the further the heroes venture.

The Silent Hope demo promises an exciting experience in this intriguing wordless world!
